![]() So, this review is going to have a few story spoilers here - consider this your official spoiler warning. Lost Words: Beyond the Page is a story game with some light puzzle and platforming elements thrown in. GEM Oh, that could be fun finding Pikmin in your garden!ĭARREN Ok you two, wrap it up, time's a ticking and we've got a review to do! Places everybody, places!ĭARREN Oh, very good, well then, cue the review! RAD Well I did see that the Pokemon Go developers are teaming up with Nintendo again! This time they're going to make a Pikmin Augmented Reality game which will launch later this year. Those were just my personal highlights! Did any other news catch your peepers this week? GEM Well there were other cool things too. And there was a cool adventure game called Nobody Saves the World from the Guacamelee developers! All of which are due out at some point this year! GEM Yeah I thought you'd like that one! There was a nice looking cooking game called Soup Pot. There was Moonglow Bay which looks like part fishing sim, part Stardew Valley. they showed off this very pretty looking adventure game called OMNO which has dinosaurs and a guy with an onion head. RAD No, it was like three hours long! I don't have time for that! Just give me the highlights! GEM Oh you know me I do love me some pretty space to fly around! Definitely something to keep an eye on! Another thing these eyes have been keeping on is the indies shown in the Xbox Showcase. ![]() It is still in early access but it looks like a very polished game already! You can warp around between different stars or even black holes with no loading screens, you can cover entire planets in factories, and of course watch your Dyson Sphere take shape. It's really cool and pretty, and I love the scale of it. But here you control a cool robot who looks like Optimus Prime, to harvest resources and set up elaborate production lines, which ultimately let you build your very own Dyson Sphere. And Dyson Sphere Program lets you do just that! It's similar to games like Satisfactory or Factorio, which you know I love. Dyson Spheres are these huuuuge structures that an advanced civilisation could, in theory, build around a star to harvest its energy, sort of like if we encased the sun in a bunc solar panels. RAD Gem, do you know what a Dyson Sphere is? GEM Uh, well before we get stuck into our review, Rad what other games have you been playing this week? RAD It's not just me- this is suss, right? how weird.ĭARREN Uhh, take no notice, nothing to see here, we really need to start the show. RAD Sounds good Gem! Quick question, do you know what this button's about? ![]() Plus, we dig into gaming's history book to uncover the odd origins of the Nintendo character, Pauline! coming up today on the show - we explore a storybook in the adventure, Lost Words: Beyond The Page. RAD It's time for Good Game Spawn Point! I'm Rad. ![]()
